SoE, Froast and Matrixxa should give every player a mark out of ten, then take the (rounded up) average as the players official rank. Then you could tally the rank of each kingdom, and when new players join put them in the kingdom with the lowest rank. Otherwise, even if kingdoms have the same number of players, the tournament could get onesided.
Imagine, 5 newbies in Wu and 5 veterans in Shu - not exactly fair. I understand if you don't want to put the rule in as it's a bit weird and could take effort, but I think it could help make the tourny better.
Before anyone asks, I made 2 separate topics for the 2 separate suggestions so that we could have separate discussions about each. If I did it in one topic, and there were arguments about both suggestions, it could get complicated.

Yeh but people could get pi$$ed off about their rank and will whinge
Maybe if the ranks arent revealed to the players and only to the admin people that might be better

Nah, I think it would be fine for everyone to know their own rank. The rank thing is an excellent idea, it will help balance things out. The only problem would be that you could have a "total rank points" for each kingdom, but- there could still be a problem. For example- you could have 10 players who have a rank of 2 (basically complete n00bs) in Wei, and then have 2 people with a rank of 10 in Wu. In this case the leader could just send every single person to attack Wu lands and take 8 each time. Obviously this is a very extreme example, but this kind of thing could happen to a lesser extent. Yes, but it would be hard to base the ranks... Take me in example, in COK1, I would have got something like 9/10, but if you would check my last battles, it would have been like 6/10  |

that's why I suggested 3 separate people make the ranks, so that it balances out. Judge from CoK as a whole.
You'd get 10/10 for the first 2 CoKs SoE, not 9.

thanks  My only lost in COK1 was in Guan Yu's escape...and since we were playing different sides, I had no chances on Wei's side I don't remember about COK2 since the board is gone... |

Wow...was anyone even Sun Jian? Yes! I remember the guy! He was a warrior, was he not? I remember a big topic in the warrior's forum with him and Dark and me in it! ;D i don't think he stuck around, though.  The only reason I lost to Uncle Huang that time was 'cause my fudgin' BG died....making him win by somethin' like 40 points. Oh...one suggest- NO BG POINTS STILL. ...for DW4.  |

yes, there won't be points for BG in DW4, but they will have Storm and rescues And I didn't even knew gates gave point then! I would have owned you if I would have secured them! |
