I never tried it? Which officer owns teh north gate? Gan Ning? If you kill him, the flow willl stop.

I found it to be codependent on the officers that Splat says he killed. With each death the flow diminishes, but you may be right for all I know aobout Gan Ning. I found that Deng Long was very closely tied to the leakage too, especially after a few minutes. In my own method I had to work hard to keep as many of these generals alive as I could for as long as possible. Killing Gan Ning or Deng Long were definite no nos.  But this effect only took place after you resched between 1 and 2 K of the KOs. Before that the flow would not seem to matter much on the enemies. Anyway, you guys check it out. I am ok with any decision you come up with. Because of the squirrely effects here, I could not say that Splat is wrong without thoroughly rechecking the stage with his method. My initial findings were that just killing your way North would not work in the long run. |

I headed North at the start of the battle killing all troops and killing Chen Jiu, Deng Long, and Su Fei. It usually takes about 8 minutes. Get the gate captain to start fighting with your bodyguards. Get right close to the gate and keep panning your camera veiw left to right and back again. The gate should be flowing rapdily and since your so close just start slashing away and the Ko's will start racking up. While you are doing that Gan Ning will have killed pretty much all your allies in the North.Go and duel him. Then get back to the gate and get the rest of your kills. below is an approximate breakdown of the kills. 52 Mins. left- 400 Ko's and 3 WO's 40 Mins. left- almost 200 Ko's and 4 WO's 30 Mins. left- little over 4500 20 Mins. left- almost 6000 10 Mins. left- you should be at about 7000 now then go finish after that and when i went down Cai Mao was there with Haung Zu so i killed him too. If anyone wants to try it, go ahead. I might tonight. I think Splat cheated too.... ....on typin' up that post, 'cause I've never seen him write that well before! He must have a good editor.  |

Doof's the best! No, man, I'm serious! I've never seen Splat get a post that grammatically correct. Hell....even around 20% correct.  I mean, even if he did a one-word post, it'd be like: "no,"...or somethin' like that. Heh, great gai...bad "speeler". |

Out of my own curiosity, I tried this out for myself. I did it 3 total times, following the methods given here. And at the time Splatman finished the stage, I was just a few hundred under his KO score. I also could have definately made improvement... I think it is very well possible to get his score with the least bit of effort.
