Bush is awesome, best President in years.
America has several parties but no one has a chance of winning the election unless they are a democrat or republican.
All governments in all countries are influenced strongly by corporations and it is worse if there is a dictatorship.
Socialist countries (similar to America's Democratic party) always have more influence from the larger or government sponsored companies than in the US where there is actually resistance to the larger corporations from small business (who generally support republicans- believe it or not). I would know, since our company and hundreds of others have fought succesfully against the drug companies in America. Compounding pharmacies in other countries are not nearly as free except Canada, where the big drug companies do not have as much influence because there are no Canadian-originated large drug sompanies. All other countries in the world that I know of would declare our business illegal outright with no argument allowed, and compounding is severely constrained in Europe. (It steps on the toes of the establishment=government sponsored corporations)
In a dictatorship there is only one corporation- the dictator!
The election process forces even the Republicans, who in general are against any government involvement in business, to accomodate not only large corporations but large special interest groups like farmers, retailers, bankers, truckers.... you name it. Of course the democrats are even more willing to accomodate special interests, because their philosophy is to grow governement and thus their power by any means. This is because they believe that only an "elite" group knows enough to handle all of our affairs. They do this by redistributing money, by controlling industry with agencies, by finding reasons to tax and spend.
The republicans do the same but are much more reluctant since it is against the philosophy of their constituency. George Bush has enough principles to believe in small governement just like his constituents, and he has instituted steps to allow the Small Business Administration, a little agency to promote smaller businesses, to keep watch on the large agencies that have catered to large businesses. He is the first president to have kept the FDA scared enough that they don't go out rattling their chains as much at small businesses as they used to. Bush is a small business President, because he knows that 60% of all business growth in America has come from small business. Bush has dropped the taxes, now he needs to drop the spending.
As far as who is connected to big business:
John Kerry and his wife have a net worth of 1 billion dollars plus, Edwards has about 125 million.
On the Republican side, you have Chaney, net worth 30 million, and the poorest of the group by far, dubya the great, at 15 million.
Almost all news information in the US is heavily slanted against GW Bush, except Fox News if you can get it on your cable chanel. Against all odds, and against all the money and the power brokers, George Bush continues to grow in popularity, but you will not know this unless you dig. Although you will never hear it from the supposedly educated elitists on college campusses and from the talking heads on TV, he is the choice for the working people of America, who have more common sense in one little finger than most so-called "experts" will ever get in between their ears.

*Hands out Doof Presidential Stickers* *Does it the american way* *annoyingly*
only having 2 major political parties kind of makes America narrow minded IMO. I mean no offence but surely at least some people dont want either Repubs or Demos in power.

I may not live in america, but I know about politics. It is important I do so one day I can be just as successful in business and marketing. From records... Bush has put the US in a large amount of economical debt. He even took money out of the 2.5 trillion reserved by Bill Clinton for social security. From finally being out of debt 6 trillion dollars... it quickly turned into -3 trillion in debt all in a 4 year term. His taxes favor the rich and leave the average family to be cheated. His little ploy to gain trust through out america by the tax refunding cost serious money from the government, just to give some people a few hundred bucks... others a lot more. While people may like this... it costs the government. Over the 4 years... countless businesses died and went bankrupt due to his idiocy. Unemployment soared... though now it is starting to decrease... the scar won't leave away. It has been proven that he is not very intelligent and that he has killed the progression on US and the world since the US is a major influence. He is a terrible president. I don't really care on matters of war as most do. Bill Clinton really had the country going in a great direction and tons of money above debt... but not it is the opposite due to the idiot. Not that I favor Kerry or anything. But I do know that he does not have a networth of a billion dollars. Besides, Bush and Chaney have their connections with oil companies... and before the collapsem], Enron. Enron ironically collapsed due to corruption. Bush is such a horrible president, his poor influence drastically affected our family business. Because of that I wouldn't vote for him.
