Name some of these bands then Frost, so I can prove you wrong on some of them  theres a reason why Iron Maiden are considered the most innovative band in metal and are arguably(sp?) the 2nd/3rd most influential metal band ever. Exactly. Almost everyone I have introduced Iron Maiden to has been hooked; Max, COW, and some others you don't know. And not to mention Solid got me hooked. They have over 20 Cds, and their concerts are always sold out. They have toured the other greats such as Kiss and Guns 'n' Roses. Now if Iron Maiden sucked so bad, why would this be? They have sold millions of their Cds, and have had countless great hits. For 25 years now they have been making CDs... this couldn't happen if Iron Maiden is as bad as you say. You frost, OBVIOUSLY have ABSOLUTELY no tastes what so ever. Go litsen to your hippity hop and your backstreet boys and shut the hell up when you don't know shit. |

Hammer, NSYNC sells out their concerts but that doesn't make them any good. They are also one of the most influental Pop bands. But that doesn't make them any good.
I never said Iron Maiden sucked. I personally don't like them. I'm not insulting any one's taste for liking them, it's just that I don't. I don't give a shit who likes them, because I never will.

But pop is much more mainstream than metal, for a metal band like Iron Maiden who never hit it big in America because they were shunned by the media because of songs like number of the beast they did very good...

Their influence in Europe is unmatched, but many americans haven't even heard of them. But still I wore an Iron Maiden shirt to school once... and about 20 people told me that Iron Maiden rocks. Now if you wear a metallica shirt... (which BTW everyone wears...) no one would do that. What people who do know Maiden, love it.
