Gems can only be used in bet duels and they affect the score of one or both players. Gems can be aquired in many ways: awarded to an officer when certain conditions are met, found after special reports, bought from shops or won agaisnt an opponent.
As soon as a bet duel is declared, both participant will have to let the admins knows what gem they take into battle. The winner of the duel wins all the gems his opponent used. It is a good thing not to let the opponent know what gem you posses, since they can also be used agaisnt you.
Some gems will even have the power to negate the points given in a certain area. ie: Both players get 0 points for CT no matter what their time was.
