Disturbances in Qiao

[Flames of Lucifer]

Lu Meng walked through the dark night, having just come from Shu's territory. He followed the moonlit path to the city in which he began his journey on. Hours after walking, a fiery sunrise erupted over the horizon, and in it creating a shadow of infinite depths was the city of Qiao. Lu Meng sat down on a hill a few li outside of the city and set his equipment down for a short rest and to plan his next move.

By noon, the shadows died, and they only shadows visible were ones not seen unless looked for. Lu Meng picked up his shimmering halberd in a violent grab and began to run towards Qiao wielding his weapon.

The guards on the gate saw Lu Meng approach from a distance moving very quickly as if attacking the city alone. As the gate came closer to Lu Meng he slowed down. Within 100 feet of the gate Lu Meng looked up and shouted to the guards.

"Give me the city of Qiao, or you will have regret from your greed and impurity."

Angered by Wei's incompetence and failure to repond Lu Meng gets up after having waited for one day. Lu Meng begin walking away from Qiao and the guards watch him a he dissapear.

The evening sun set over the city of Qiao... and the disturbance begin. A group of guards found 3 guards slaughtered at there post. A small trail in the dust led the guards to a large group of guards who had surrounded Lu Meng. Lu Meng tood in his battle stance wielding his halberd.

"Since you will not cooperate with me... I will take Qiao single handedly!"

Lu Meng ha attacked the city of Qiao.

OOC: I suck at Rp, but no one else was responding, so I decided to.

Deng Ai was eating a quick lunch when a guard came running through the front doors of the palace.

Guard: "My Lord, Lu Meng is slaughtering our elite guards at the front gate."

At these words Deng Ai rose from his chair. Without a word, he picked up his spear and strode from the hall.

He reached the gate only to find massacred bodies of some of Wei's most elite guards. He quickened his pace, knowing that Qiao was doomed if he didn't find Lu Meng quickly.

As he ran, Deng muttered to himself.

Deng: "If it is a battle that Lu Meng seeks, then he has done a fine job of finding it."

Not 100 yards from the gate, Deng Ai spotted the monster causing the mayhem. There stood Lu Meng, his pike held high. A circle of guards lay around him.

Deng thought to himself, "Impossible, how could a single warrior cause such destruction. He has slain at least 30 of the Qiao's most respected men."

As he approached, Lu Meng looked him in the eyes.

[Deng Ai will defend the city of Qiao from the monster Lu Meng!

Lu Meng turned around sharply to see Deng Ai standing only a few feet away. Crimson blood flooded the streets of those who tried to stop him, but his might was to great for that of any normal man. Lu Meng leaned his halberd against his shoulder and spoke to the only threat stopping him from taking Qiao.

"So, you too have come to oppose me? Save yourself the trouble and retreat with your men while you can and save yourselves from the defeat."

Having sensed it, Lu Meng hurriedly brang his halberd down from his shoulder and turned quickly while slashing as he turned. A guard who tried to sneak up on him fell to the ground wounded, barely breathing after having been slashed across the chest. Lu Meng swung his halberd around again, then wielded it from his side and stared into the eyes of Deng Ai.

"You will regret taking the mightly Lu Meng for granted!"

OOC: Frost or Jonathan... can you comfirm this battle?

[Conker: Liu Bei]

Lord Liu Bei had heard of what was happening at Qiao, and decided to immediately head over and check how things were going. The reports of the slaughtered guards had been true. Liu Bei became furious at this offense and saw the warrior attacking his people. Deng Ai had rushed in to battle with him.

" Deng, you fool," Liu Bei said to himself. "rushing in without orders. Who does he think he is?"

Liu Bei then focused on Lu Meng. He was obviously not going to leave Qiao alone until it was his. That only meant he would never stop attacking.

"Lu Meng! You fool! Your arrogance will be your downfall!' Liu Bei shouted.

Liu Bei had remembered that Lu Meng had decided to help Shu instead of Wei. Liu Bei became angry that Shu had fallen back on their word.

" Damn you Shu! Lu Meng will be your downfall!"

With that, Liu Bei had gone back to his post and plan his next move.

Lu Meng has taken Qiao.

Lu Meng scales the gates past the hundreds of slaughtered guards. As he rose to the tops of the gates he watched as the guards and soldiers in the city flee running from Qiao. Deng Ai rode his horse, trotting rather than dashing as if he was thinking about what had just happened, then glanced Qiao and saw Lu Meng on top of the gates. Lu Meng smashed the butt of the spear onto the ground and proclaimed, "I am the almight Lu Meng... the Flames of Lucifer! Never doubt me ever again, and always heed my warnings instead of ignoring me. Today, I a single man single-handedly took a city by storm, leaving hundreds dead and sending the Wei forces fleeing. This is a sign of your leader's poor leadership qualities... and a sign that there is no talent in these times of turmoil... for I Lu Meng have taken Qiao single-handedly, as I promised I would."

Lu Meng watches as the Wei forces had come to take Qiao back. Lu Meng stood out on top of the gate as siege weapons and ladders were put up against the wall. "You will not heed my warnings will you! Revenge is not justice, it's the reckoning. This time it's for blood, don't tread on me! Your Judgement has been made and In blood it shall be paid!"

Lu Meng began to fight the soldiers single handedly as they scaled across the walls. The ground quickly became scarlet blood-stained, as the shearing of metal and commotion on top of the gate erupted in fierce battle.

Lu Meng looked at the countless bodies he had slaughtered, blood covered the West walls of Qiao. A day later after Lu Meng had rotued Wei for the second time, they had returned. Lu Meng sat on top of the gate laughing.

"Do you ever give up? Is it so hard to understand that Qiao is mine!? Since everyone on Wei has the stupidity of a retarded child, you will learn a lesson of vengeance. The last time I said it was the last time, and that was to heed my warnings! The fifth time... is the last time, I will make you pay now."

Lu Meng devised a plan to wrap Wei in chains of misery, but before he did that, he must once again single-handedly subdue the idiotic invaders.

Lu Meng surveyed the gate. It was completely covered with blood and bodies, also was the ground below the gate. Lu Meng sighed to himself.

"Such is a result of a foolish and hard-headed bastard of a ruler. He has caused the slaughter of many soldiers because he would not heed my warnings. I am sorry that they all had to die for such a pathetic cause. I will make sure he pays!"

The population watched as Lu Meng descended the gate. He made sure that not a citizen was hurt, and he has succeeded. He lonely walked out of the gates and headed deeper into Wei territory for yet another mission, one of more dire than this one.

Before leaving, Lu Meng decides to clean up before going on his next campaign. He then meets the cloaked figure and talked a bit with him. Then after he had his armor and weapon cleaned, he left the city. After walking a few li from it, he took one last look at the bloodstained city and shook his head in dissapointment.

"I will let Wei be at peace for now, I have better things to do than frolic with an untrustworthy kid of a ruler."
