From the gates of Jiang Xia, a small array of men start to head towards the city of Chang Sha. At the head of the array is the figure of Zhang Zheng, who rides in an plain carriage usually reserved for Ding Feng. Zhang Zheng was honoured to be allowed to ride in the carriage, but then he could understand why Lord Ding Feng took this so seriously. He was not heading to Chang Sha for no reason; this was an important diplomatic mission.
The wind howled fiercly in the eyes of Zhang Zheng; perhaps spurred by the storms in Xin Ye. The old scholar blinked to protect his eyes, and as he opened them again he envisioned Ding Feng in front of him, giving him the same directions that Zhang had received in the capital of Jiang Dong. The words flashed in front of Zhang Zheng, as the figure of Ding Feng spoke them.
"Wei have proved unreliable, just as I suspected. That is why we have been so easily able to prepare for this attack. The Others, however, have temporarily stopped attacking; clearly they understand our power. However, we must not underestimate them either, for they would be powerful allies. Give them this gift, so that we may bond against Wei. Only by doing this can we unite the land in peace"
Zhang Zheng nodded to the imaginary figure of his lord, and proceeded forwards. Soon they reached the gates, and Zhang Zheng's gruff voice boomed out to the guards of Chang Sha.
Zhang Zheng: I, Zhang Zheng, servant of the noble Ding Feng, have come from the lands of Shu. I wish to speak to your ruler.

The few sentries eyed eachother in a befuddled manner. Unsure of whether to allow the envoy to enter, they inquired the commanding guard render a response. The officer withdrew an edict from his lord, perched within his armor and he swiftly examined the scroll: Do NOT permit admittance to any person claiming to be aligned with the kingdom of Shu. Shu is our main foe, and it is my desire we vanquish the dogs. We have no need to converse with the fools. The captained grinned, then turned down to the diplomat. He proclaimed loudly, "Of course not! His eminence is not keen on you Shu types. You don't frighten us you eastern pig-dogs! Go and boil your bottoms, sons of a silly person. I blow my nose at you, so-called diplomat. I don't want to talk to you anymore, you empty-headed animal food-trough wiper. Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries! Now go away or I shall taunt you a second time."
