Liu Bei had been alone in his cabin to the west of Qiao after resigning from position as ruler of Wei. Whether Wei was aware of it or not, Liu Bei still had a scout in Wei who secrectly came to give Liu Bei information, a mere messanger so to say.
When Liu Bei had heard that Deng Ai had decided to merge with the others, he had become furious that his old kingdom felt they were too weak to do things on there own. At least some lands had stayed behind, pure followers of what he believed in, a united China under the banner of Wei. He might be able to use them later.
Liu Bei decided he was going to take matters into his own hands. He had remembered tha great warrior Lu Meng who had easily taken over the city of Qiao by himself. He decided he could use an ally with the abilities of Lu Meng. Liu Bei decided to write Lu Meng a letter.
(OOC: the letter will no be posted here. I will send the letter by PM to Lu Meng to make sure my ideas are kept secret. Lu Meng can do the same if he wishes.)
When Liu Bei had finished writing the letter, the messanger had come to tell Liu Bei of the current news of Wei, which is now the others.
Liu Bei: You couldn't have arrived at a better time. I have an important task for you.
Messanger: Important task, my lord? What is it?
Liu Bei: Yes, bring this letter to the great Lu Meng, the warrior who took over Qiao by himself. Hurry, for the fate of a united China may depend on it.
Messanger: I shall find him as soon as I can. I'm assuming you've come up with a plan, my lord?
Liu Bei: Yes, I believe it is time I got into the middle of things once again.
Messanger: Excellent.
With that said, the messanger quickly left in search for Lu Meng. Liu Bei could only sit and wait in his cabin and wait for a response from the mighty Lu Meng. Hopefully his dreams could have a chance to be fulfilled once again.
